Development and then looked at

Post by ahsowrov408 »

Still, researchers are trying to figure things out. They investigated, among other things, whether the total amount of dietary fat affects pancreatic cancer development and then looked at the effects of high and low levels of linoleic acid or fish fatty acids. Feeding mice a high-fat diet in addition to azaserine resulted without failure. There are more and larger tumors in the pancreas than in the pancreas with less fat.

Apparently the amount of dietary fat alone affects the pancreas. How the amount of fat in the diet plays a role is unclear. To be sure, the fat composition of the diet matters. The prevailing view is that plant linoleic acid promotes tumor growth. Fish fatty acids actually inhibit it. The plant mobile number list polyunsaturated fat linoleic acid promotes tumor growth in rats and hamsters more than the animal variant approximately linoleic acid.

This observation led to the hypothesis that linoleic acid is responsible for tumor promotion. Fatty acids in prostaglandin fish oil inhibit the development of breast and colorectal cancer in experimental animals. A possible explanation is that fish fatty acids make the conversion of linoleic acid more difficult. The extension of linoleic acid to arachidonic acid may be converted to prostaglandins. Prostaglandins may be involved in the negative effects of linoleic acid.
